Her grandpa had her try some mashed potatoes last week and she loved them! I had her try some bananas today but she gave the weirdest faces. She doesn't enjoy them quite yet but I'm sure soon she will.

4 months
Well my baby is turning 4 months tomorrow! I just can't believe how fast time has gone by! She's starting to reach out and grab her toys, roll over from back to tummy and tummy to back, and she's finally starting to squeal/laugh.
It's been a tough couple of weeks with my husband being on his two weeks for the military. She's starting to teeth and it's been getting to me and the animals. But even though she's being grumpy, she still squeals and talks to us happily.

Giggles, Toys and Doctor's Visit
Kerrigan giggled for the first time today! I love being able to wake her up in the mornings and see her smiley face. :) She's such a happy baby. I just can't believe how happy she is!
We bought her a new toy on Monday called the jumperoo from Walmart. It has a center seat that spins all the way around and toys all the way around it. She loves it! She's not quite tall enough to reach the floor yet so we bounce her in it and play with the toys for her. Yesterday she reached out and started spinning one of the toys! I think she's finally starting to grasp her hand eye coordination skill.
This morning she held her bottle up by herself! She's growing up so fast!
On Monday, July 16, we took Kerrigan in to see her doctor because she spits up after every feeding and after she burps. She diagnosed her with acid reflex and told us to give medication every 12 hours to see how that does for her. So far nothing but she did tell us to at least give it two weeks to see if it will work or not. I'm really hoping it does!

Vacation and 2 Month Shots
I’m so sorry that it’s been over 3 weeks since my last update! I’ve been on vacation and getting the house back together before going back to work tomorrow. So I’ve been pretty busy as of late.
I left to travel to my parents place (which is in North east in Indiana) around 3:30 in the afternoon on June 5th. I had to get the car’s oil change before we left in West Plains, Mo. We left the dealership around 5 and started our journey up north. She fussed for a little bit and we had to stop in Houston, Mo for a bite to eat and gas. The sun was bothering her so I decided to put blankets on the back windows to help her sleep. Once the sun was down, she only woke up a couple of times to eat and change her diaper - once in Effingham, IL and Indianapolis, IN. We arrived at my parents house around 5 in the morning and surprised both of them. They weren’t expecting me until around 10 since I was with her and they thought I was going to try to take a nap on the way up there. Mom HATED to leave us since she had to go to work but she had to go. Their dogs were pretty excited to see us and miss Sadie just LOVED Kerrigan. :)
We had a nice relaxing 2 weeks while we were up there. We went to my Mom’s family reunion to show off Baby K and they just loved her! Grandma was really excited to meet her first great-granddaughter, my cousins Ric and Jessie were just as excited, and Aunt Peg was just loving all over her. Mom’s and Dad’s neighbors, Jason and Rachel, were more than happy to come over almost every night to see Baby K and I.
An amazing thing happened while we were up there. She began to sleep through the night! Oh and it has been such a blessing! We figured out she was getting cold while she slept at night and that’s what kept waking her up. I’m so glad we figured that out!
We had to leave Mom and Dad’s on the 18th because she had an appointment with her doctor for her 2 month shots. She screamed bloody murder when she was getting the shots but settled right down after getting some love from me. The doctor said everything is normal except she has eczema. So we have to use special laundry soap and a special kind of lotion. I forgot to mention that she is also allergic to Johnson and Johnson’s baby lotion too. :/ I swear she is becoming allergic to everything… but we’ll get through it and hopefully she’ll get over the eczema as she grows up!

Busy Busy Busy!
Ugh! I've been so busy I keep forgetting to update this blog! :/ So I've decided I'll start updating it at least every Saturday just to keep up with everything that is going on. On the 23rd, we took Kerrigan to her Pediatrician because her face was broke out. We thought it was just acne at first but it got to the point where it didn't look very good and I was getting worried she was getting an allergy from the animals. Turns out it's completely normal! Yay!
Over Memorial weekend, we decided to spend some time with David's grandparents in Charleston, Mo. They absolutely loved her! Even their one year old beagle, Annabelle, fell in love with her. :) We went up to Cape Girardeau, Mo to the mall, spent about half a day there, and got some nice clothes for Baby K.
Kerrigan took up with Great Grandma Kitty quite quickly and just loved to be held by her.
Then when we got home, Kerrigan was having a huge fit. David and I tried everything and just couldn't figure out what was wrong. Here comes Great Grandpa Danny to the rescue! We handed her off to him and within 2 minutes she was sound asleep.
Of course, so was he! :)
When we got back home, we noticed her cradle cap was getting really bad again and decided to try baby oil on it. It seemed to work really good until I woke up Friday morning (6-1-2012) and noticed her whole face was swollen!!
We rushed her to the doctor where the determined she's allergic to baby oil and put her on prednisone for 3 days. We have to take her back on Monday for a recheck but so far it's looking great! The swelling has gone down a ton and you hardly notice she even was swollen! Thank God!
After my car appointment on Tuesday, Baby K and I are going to make our way up north to Indiana to see my parents and the rest of the family. I can't wait to show her off!

Update
It's been a while since I've updated! Sorry about that! Kerrigan is doing so much better after we changed her formula to the Enfamil gentlease. Hardly any gassy moments and she's hardly fussy. Only when she wants to be held, or food. You know, the normal stuff. She's got really bad pimples all over her face and I feel so bad for her even though I know it doesn't bother her one bit. My father in law told us to make sure we wash all the soap off and to not put lotion on her cheeks. So hopefully that'll help out :) She's starting to have good bowel movements event though she's still frustrated while pushing. I kinda giggle when she's pushing and her face turns red and then she looks at me and starts crying. I'm guessing she thinks I can help her some how...Wish I could! She's starting to sleep through the night pretty good too. She's wakes up about every 4 hours so all of us are getting enough sleep!
We did a photo shot for Mother's Day so I can send pictures to my Grandma and Mama!
